Hey everyone,
I am going to make a change to our blog and wanted to give you some warning. I am either going to quit my blog or I will start a private blog. If I do a private blog and you are interested in checking it please e-mail me and I will invite you.
I really did not want to change my blog but I have lost my comfort with it. Two of my friends have had their blog compromised by people with ill wishes. My blog was listed on the side of theirs (I had given them permission to do so, I didn't mind that). Every time I think of doing a new post, I think about the possibility of the ill wishers looking in on my family and I and I lose all desire to post anything at all. I have also noticed that Blogger is suggesting other blogs I might want to look at that are similar to the ones I already check. I just don't like that. I don't like how much easier it is getting for lots of people who don't even know me to be looking at my blog.
Maybe it isn't a big deal, but I have lost my excitement for my blog. I made it to keep in touch with dear friends and even have enjoyed some new friendships because different ones stumble upon our blog. I have loved all of that.
I know this disappoints some and I'm sorry. I am going to try to be better about e-mailing pictures and stories to keep in touch. And I may do a private blog. We'll see....

Michelle - it was so nice to meet your family face-to-face at GT after anonymously enjoying your blog for many months! If you do decide to go private, there is certainly wisdom in a move like that these days. If you decide to pack it up entirely, I'll miss your posts but look forward to another encounter if you ever pay a visit to our fair city =)
Oh, my dear sister -- I totally understand your feelings, and respect your need to protect your sweet family. Whatever your decision, I'd love to be privy to what you do! :-) As a plug for a private blog, I've had no problems since I changed mine... Sending lots of love, Jeanie

Oh Michelle, so sorry that had to raise it's ugly head. A sign of the times, i'm afraid. We all enjoyed you, et al, for all these many months-years, perhaps? Time flies when you're having fun and/or getting older. Love to each and look so forward to seeing you when we do a girl thing in Houston!!!

Michelle, I totally understand your concern. I have been thinking about making ours private as well. If you do, please let me know because I LOVE watching your beautiful family grow! Kassi
Michelle, it was great to visit with you at G'town. I understand your delima with the blog as I've had mine hacked and had to change some settings to attempt to make it more private, but it's amazing what you can find when you google your blog name (kind of scary actually).
