Winter Wonderland

Welcome back. I have some fun pictures from this month to share because we have had SNOW this week! And it STAYED for days! We even had a second snowstorm. It left us with a visual feast and I thought for the first post back, it would be good to share these with you.

This was something I had never seen before...the cold that came with the snow made the fall leaves all fall off - this was mid morning. By evening, the snow was completely covered with leaves. It was so pretty!

This one of my pyracantha bush and the mountains in the back was taken out of my kitchen window.

SO GLAD you're back! :-) I'm so jealous of your snow. We were supposed to get snow one day, but only saw about 20 flakes in the air. Sigh. :-( I do miss 'real' winter. Love, Susie

Thanks for the invite, Michelle. Good to read about your lives again. That snow was really widespread! But we had so much cold, it was hard to see the beauty in the snow!!djc

What beautiful pictures and fun to think that your snow stayed for as long as it did. I am so proud of you for protecting your family by keeping your blog private. They come first!

Love ya
