First, a picture of what happened when our dog got really sore feet one day and then insisted on going on our walk the next day. I felt so bad for her, I put her in the stroller with Sadie - and she loved it! :)
Next, three bird pictures I have taken close to the house. 2 are out of a window, so they aren't very clear. I'm hoping the birders I know can tell me exactly what I have been looking at! :) You may have to double click them to get them closer...

Wow Michelle! They are colorful, beautiful birds.......and so unfamiliar. It's not a bluejay like we know here, and I looked up a Mexican jay and it doesn't look like that either. Maybe a Blue Grosbeak? The only one I would take a guess at is the Scarlet Tanager or maybe it's a Summer Tanager. Only reason that comes to mind is Ruthie told of a Summer Tanager in her yard a few weeks ago. Great you got good pictures of them.
