Parade Strategy

As I've been organizing and uploading pictures from the summer, I have come across some that are worth going back in time to revisit. Like this little group. In early August Morgan was in a ranch rodeo, so he had to have "some sort of representation" in the parade. It ended up being he and Shane and Ivey riding in the parade. Shane rode the first half, Ivey rode the last half. Sadie was much too serious about the candy to want to ride. You can see she decided quickly that her hat would work well for a bucket...
Then time for some parade strategy with her sister. I think this is my favorite picture. :)
Here they come! Shane had promised to throw candy to them, and he came through. Shane's horse, though gentle on the ranch, was less than impressed with town and Morgan was glad when the parade was over without having any wrecks with him!
