Here's what Morgan has been doing in the evenings...a new line of leatherwork! The one with three tulips is Poppy's and was the first one he made. I love it! The first one is one he made to fit a request for "a very simple one". These were all his idea and creation...and my delight to see what each new one is going to look like! Some of you have a purse or biblecase ordered....he has to order leather, but I promise it will be worth the wait! They sent some amazing colors, so we're ordering several options.
I noticed that Shane isn't ever in our snapshots anymore...he gets too far away when he's playing! So I grabbed him and snapped a picture of him last night. :)
We recently had a wonderful night at Ian and Dez's new house - it was such a great time! Can't wait until the whole family gets to gather there!! The guys played some guitar, kids played in the yard, we all visited...just a great evening. Wish we could have had another night there!

This small one is a bible case Morgan made for our niece for her 8th birthday. I love the buckstitching...so cute.
I can't remember if I posted pictures of the evening Morgan pulled the kids around on a log for awhile. Cheap, but quality, entertainment. :)
I don't think these cookies won any contests here for taste, but the bright color made up for it. :) They were fun for the kids to decorate.
We did have a ninja join us for breakfast the other day. He didn't break his role all day- it was hilarious.
Ian and Morgan set up a washers set in Ian's yard. So of course they had to break it in!
It was raining the other day so the girls played barber while Shane read. When we take Shane to the barber, Ivey is most impressed with how the lady sprays his hair before combing and cutting it. I don't know how long they had been doing this when I found them, but Sadie's hair was SOAKING wet!
Ivey got to go with Morgan horseback the other day. She was elated!
Then we found a little watermelon starting in the garden!
And some squash that had grown too big while we were gone - so the girls made trumpets out of them. More cheap, but quality, entertainment. We specialize in that around here. :)
More soon. Hope you are all well!

Hey, great post! Loved all the pictures with the kids having such fun. The log-pulling reminded me of our dad when we were little, letting us ride on BED SPRINGS with a piece of plywood on top as he smoothed out the drive around the house. Great fun too! Can't believe Mom let us do that, and we were all covered in dust afterward too.
Shane's ninja picture is a lot like Morg and what he did at Shane's age...=)
I love, love, LOVE the leather purses (and bible bag), Morgan!!! I think the tulip one is my favorite, too, Michelle! :) I love the soft colors of the tulips (such pretty colors!) and how they just jump out at you because of the dark leather surrounding it. NICE work, Morg!!
The picture that cracked me up is the one of the kids on the log. Such a PERFECT example of their personalities...Sadie, who is just a little tentative yet to do anything TOO daring while the log is moving (even more so, maybe, since the broken arm!), and then Shane, who holds nothing back and who is probably yelling, "COWABUNGA!!!" while "surfing" on the log!! *laugh*
Thanks for sharing!! I'm LOVING all of your recent updates! I miss you guys! :)
Everyone else said what I wanted to say! I love the purses, the riding on the log, the ninja, and the garden girls... Wonderful wonderful! :-)
I feel so special that my purse is on the blog!!!! I must say I love it, and the more it gets broke in, the better it is!
Love Ya'll
Wow, the purses and Bible bag are beautiful. How very artistic you are Morgan!
The pictures of the kids are always great. I love the log ride too. It reminds me of when Dad would take us for rides on the big Coke sign,(like a large saucer) behind the horse or the jeep, in the snow. Sometimes we would hit a frozen cow patty and it would throw everyone off. We would just giggle and get back on.
Shane you have a great sence of imagination. Hold on to that.
Love ya all.
Hi Michelle, Was glad to check in this a.m. and see not just one post, but two....so had fun following along with your daily happening. I'm glad the cast is off!! Now life can get back to normal. The leather goods are beautiful. The three tulips is my favorite. Linda
