It's that time of year again! Get the new school supplies in the backpacks and watch the excitement about another school year rise! Especially if it is your FIRST year - like Ivey's!! She's been waiting for this day for a long time!!
Here are a few first day of school pictures Daddy took right before we walked out the door. They were all ready 20 minutes before we had to go!
The sweetest thing has been to see how excited Shane has been about Ivey starting school. He is so happy that he will have a sister at school! And she came home telling me how nice Shane was to her at recess - looking out for her.
On the way home, Ivey talked our ears off about every detail of the day. It was hilarious! I was having a hard time seeing her go off to school - so big - but to hear how much she loved it made me feel better. And Shane loves second grade because he'll get to go to the science lab!More details and stories soon, Sadie and I are off to get the kids from school.
Have a great day and happy school year to all of you moms and dads who are back to the grind like we are. :)
p.s. Sadie doesn't seem to mind having Mama and Daddy to herself yet. :)

Wade's first comment? "Wow...nice red seats!!" Maxine didn't know she'd steal the show on school day! Bet she'd be flattered to hear that!
We loved the pictures!! CUTE! Ivey, your bookbag is too cute to drag to school....better send it here and I'll babysit it for you! Wonder what the froggie's name is that rides along on your bag? Bet your Mom picked out the frog bag, aye? :)
Love you all!!!
