Pretty self explanatory pictures. Made sweeter by the knowledge that Daddy is not a dog guy but planned and executed getting this puppy for the kids. Our other dog died last October and they (especially Sadie) have been sad since then. This puppy seems to be a good antidote.
First thing the next morning. Sadie bounced out of bed and went to get the puppy from the trailer before Morgan went to the barn. :) This was the day they agreed on a name. Sadie wanted an indian dog name (Tatlo) but couldn't get the popular vote. Ivey liked Val but couldn't pass it in committee, Shane suggested Sand. The girls thought it over, added a "y" to the end, and they all agreed on "Sandy". Whew! :)

Great pictures, they capture the anticipation, excitement, and glee of the kids as well as the cuteness of the puppy.
The picture of Sadie on Morg's lap captures something kind of funny.... her absolute rapture melts my heart, then I look at Morgan's furrowed brow and expression that says "Did I really just do this?" and I can not stop laughing!
You did a good thing Morgan!

What a fun post!! We echo Mel -- Daddy of the year award to Morg! :) I love Morg's smile in photo #3 After I read Mel's comment about the picture of Sadie and Morg, I went back and looked again and laughed and laughed :) It's a precious group of pictures that tell the whole story :) THANKS for having your camera ready to capture it!!
Why not a puppy for each child? Each should have their very own ball of chewing, digging, mischievous fun. ;) Love the name!
