| Is it just me, or does Morgan look nervous? |

Not in his comfort zone! Shane said "Mama, I'm not used to seeing Daddy LEARNING something!" I was so proud of him for TRYING! The kids were elated he was out there with us.
Notice Morgan. Now notice Hannah. She was just as new at it, but look at her! Watching the others to see how to skate BACKWARDS and how to do TURNS....by the time we left she was able to go backwards a bit, could turn all fancy-like, and was weaving in and out of everyone like she drives in the city! And she was saying "You know, I could get into this. Racing would be really fun!" Morgan had no such feelings....in fact, after about 30 minutes, I looked up and saw this....
He was DONE! He usually likes to get the most out of any tickets we buy, according to him, it just makes sense. :) Except when it comes to ice skating, evidently. He threw out every bit of "efficient" and was happy to pay for several hours and use 30 minutes. He just wanted his boots back on and to be on solid ground! He didn't fall once though....if he had, I am sure Will would have taken a picture and I would have shared it. :) Whew! The things Daddy will do for these kiddos. Although I bet he won't do it again ! :)

Oh man! I'm laughing! What a fabulous post! :) My favorite is noticing Morgan vs Hannah's reaction in the picture and hearing about it! :) THANKS for sharing!!
Are you coaching him, Shell? Looks like it! These are great too - I'm releasin endorphins like crazy looking at all your pictures today! Yep, Morgy looked a bit nervous, but big kudos for trying it! Hannah's take on it is priceless - not surprising! I'll have to dig up some of Wade last year his first time and put them on ours...it would make Morg feel good about not falling down anyway. Wade is the human Zamboni! Thanks for the pics - post again this year sometime! hee hee
