Last
week the girls and I helped Morgan move some yearlings. Part way
through the morning we picked Shane up, who had camped out with some
friends. He had to wait in the truck while we did the last pasture. He saw my camera in the truck and the rest is history. :)
| He took some from far off, when he first saw us. Then we must have taken too long situating gates...he got a little distracted....and took these... |
| I have to say, I like these three random pictures. Shows me he looks at completely different things than I do! |
| I like this one! But then perhaps he got a bit more restless, and started in on - you guessed it - selfies... |
| Hello, my name is Shane. I will be your photographer today! |
| In this one, Sadie looks a bit grumpy. Morgan had been teasing her that he has the prettiest horse. Sadie is SO loyal to Socks, she can't help but take it too personal if Daddy teases a little. :) |
| I like this. Especially Sadie's skeleton glow-in-the-dark glove. :) |
| I love these of Morgan. Way to go, Shane! |
| Then it started getting interesting. We stopped and had a picnic lunch. Shane spotted something in Leslie's stash that looked interesting. Next thing we know, here he comes..... | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |

It made for great entertainment. It had to be tried multiple ways, at multiple speeds, with different combinations of people in it. Leslie and Davina, this is why they like when we go to your farm....they always find something cool to play with or on! :)
All the while, the clouds were gathering, the air was changing, and a storm was moving in - something we hadn't seen for a long time!
| Can it be done? All three?? |
| Their expressions show how it all. Shane was full steam ahead, Ivey was not far behind him, but a little cautious, and Sadie was sorry she agreed to try. :) Right after this, it started raining! What a good day, all the way around. :) |

That looks FUN! We love the pictures can't wait to go down there!
What a blast! The wheel reminds me of a big one that was at the big house--we played with it off and on for years---the last time we rolled it in the snow at nightime with some friends when we were upper teens.
LOVE Shane's photos!!
Quite a little photographer! Grandma would be so proud!
Love the way this boy thinks! He seems to find joy in things the rest of us might not think of. Fun to see how much fun they were having. :)
Love your blog. Haven't checked in a long time so was very special! Love you all & hope to see you in July!
