Old MacDonald.....

 It is a little like Old MacDonald's farm around here. To our regular assortment of animals, we have added a pig (Wilbur, of course) and 4 rabbits. They are 4H projects, but really have been great pets and good entertainment. I like how the cats (all 12 of them) like to rest on top of the rabbit cage. At first it stressed the rabbits out, but they finally decided the cats wouldn't get in. :)

 Ivey will show the rabbits and Shane will show Wilbur. Sadie isn't quite old enough, but all three have been part of the "gentling" of the animals.

 We had heard that having a pig is sort of like having a dog. We have been surprised how companionable and funny this pig has been. He is comical and really does have a funny personality.

 Rabbits have been fun for the kids. Small, easy to play with, but pretty low maintenance.

This was awhile ago when the kids first bathed Wilbur. Ivey wasn't interested in bathing him, but when she heard he needed to be slathered in baby oil, she was quick to help! I tried loading a picture of Sadie working the pig but it didn't load. Mostly these pictures are for Mel, who asked for them. I think Amy needs rabbits. :)
