Dad and Karen came to see us recently!! I didn't take NEAR enough pictures, but here are a few. First off is the first rattlesnake of the season. Shane found it and we all traipsed out to observe the action. Cheap entertainment.
Morgan could see there were two of them together. He tried to grab both but one got away. Sadie is a girl after my own heart. Get UP when there is a snake around! Shane was just hoping he would get to use one of the weapons he was packing!
Such calm demeanor. Ho-hum. Just a rattlesnake. Let's kill it and go finish our coffee. A little more calm than his wife, I would say.
This picture is fuzzy but it is the only one I got of kids and grandparents. What a great time we all had!

Well, there's nothing like a little music to lull one into a much-needed nap...
Looks like old times relaxing after a day of wheat combining perhaps during a thunder storm. I sure miss those days.
