I hope you had a nice Valentine's Day. I have a funny story Ivey brought home from third grade about a Valentine gone wrong.
Ivey came home and said "Landin wasn't very nice today. Savannah likes Landin and she bought him a little Valentine thing with candy in it. But he likes Peyton and he gave the present Savannah gave him to Peyton. But Savannah and Peyton are best friends so she knew about it. It made Savannah cry and it made Peyton mad. She told the teacher. The teacher got mad. Savannah got her chocolates back and Landin got a trip to the principal."
I would say this third grade boy has a ways to go to reach a level of finesse with the ladies. At least make sure they aren't best friends before you re-gift! :)
Hope your efforts towards your Valentine were smoother than that! :)

Funny, but unfortunately it sort of reminds me of my birthday. Sunday, February 10th, meeting is here. My phone is beeping like crazy as we are getting ready. He says who is texting you? I say, Kaitlyn, Preston, Julie...... He says why are they texting you on sunday morning. I say because it's my birthday dummy. He promptly runs to the "card box" and pulls out the card with a bug eyed dog that I intended to send to my brother in law for his bday and writes a sweet note. Something about me being so hot for 34. Seriously??? I am only 32! Guys.....they need help with the special occasions don't they.
